Laurent Dubois has been Executive Director of the Société des auteur.e.trice.s de radio, télévision et cinéma (SARTEC) since 2023. Previously, he served as Executive Director of the Union des écrivaines et des écrivains québécois (UNEQ) and the Fondation Lire pour réussir from 2017 to 2023. He played a key role in the work that led to the adoption of Quebec’s new Status of the Artist Act in June 2022.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in business management from Université Paris Dauphine, earned in 2004, and is a certified coach. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading companies and cultural centres. He also founded and grew a communications consulting agency and a training and coaching centre.
