AgorIA francophone is a mid-day of debate and dialogue on the future of cultures and languages across the French-speaking world in the age of artificial intelligence. It will take place on November 14 in Phnom Penh, on the sidelines of the 20th Francophonie Summit.
The event aims to make Francophone AI governance a driver of peace, development and cultural diversity by valuing human creativity and enhancing the discoverability of Francophone languages and cultures.
Through a Francophone North–South dialogue, it will provide an opportunity to share best practices, mobilize civil society around the implementation of the 2005 UNESCO Convention in the age of AI, and develop a roadmap for Francophone AI diplomacy in support of peace, development and intercultural dialogue.
The event is made possible through financial support from the Gouvernement du Québec and is co-organized by the Québec Research Chair on Francophone AI and Digital Technologies (IANF, Université du Québec à Montréal), the Culture Department of Senghor University in Alexandria, the Coalition for the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (CDCE), and the Coalition for Cultural Diversity of Benin (CDC-Bénin).
The event will be held in French. AI-powered translation will be available on site.
