>>>>> What are the prospects for resolving the crisis shaking creators, artists and producers of cultural content in Canada? Report on the events held by the Coalition for the Diversity of Cultural Expressions

On June 5 and 6, 2018, the Coalition for the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (CDCE) held a meeting in Montreal and then in Toronto to review the CRTC’s report on future programming and distribution models. The CDCE had invited Suzanne Lamarre, an expert in telecommunications, radiocommunication and broadcasting law and regulation, lawyer and engineer at Terrien Couture, to deliver an analysis of the report, which was followed by a panel of CDCE members. The events were rich in reflections and perspectives! The following is an account of what was heard during these two days and may not fully reflect the positions of the CDCE.
