On February 11, 2026, the Coalition for the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (CDCE) hosted the event Valuing Human Creativity in the Age of AI – On the Road to the National Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Culture at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. This day of reflection brought together multiple perspectives on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on human creativity and helped foster a collective discussion on the ongoing transformations in the cultural and creative sectors.

The CDCE is today releasing the report from this event. The document provides a structured account of the presentations and discussions that shaped the day, offering a clear and rigorous overview of the analyses, examples, and debates raised by the speakers as well as by participants.
